How to sell on noon in the UAE and Saudi Arabia
1. Check that you can sell
noon accepts sellers registered in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Egypt. It also delivers to shoppers in Oman, Qatar and Kuwait, but you can not register a seller account in those countries. Brands based outside the region can sell through a UAE or Saudi company of their own, through a registered distributor, or in Saudi Arabia through noon's international seller registration.
2. Get your documents ready
| UAE | Saudi Arabia | |
|---|---|---|
| Company | Trade licence covering trading, selling, manufacturing or ecommerce, valid for at least 15 more days | Commercial registration covering trading or ecommerce |
| VAT | VAT certificate, or declare that you are not VAT registered | VAT number, which is mandatory |
| ID | Emirates ID or passport | Saudi ID, Iqama or passport |
Two things trip up new sellers: a service only trade licence, which noon refuses, and a personal bank account, which noon does not accept. In Saudi Arabia, freelance certificates are no longer accepted for new sign ups.
3. Register and get approved
- Create your seller account on noon's partner portal with your company details.
- Upload your licence or commercial registration, VAT details and ID.
- Add your business bank account for payouts.
- Apply for any restricted categories and set up your brand, so you can run Brand Ads later.
- List your first products once the account is approved.
4. Choose how you will fulfil orders
With Fulfilled by noon (FBN), also called noon Express, noon stores your stock, packs, delivers and handles returns. With Fulfilled by Partner you keep the stock: in DirectShip you pack and noon delivers, DirectShip Express adds next day or two day promises for selected sellers, and there are separate options for bulky items and sellers who deliver themselves. Fast movers usually belong in FBN. Slow or bulky products usually cost less on Fulfilled by Partner.
5. Build listings that sell
- Write titles and bullets in both English and Arabic, using the words shoppers actually type into noon search.
- Use a full image set: the product on white, in use, with size and key features called out.
- Group colours and sizes as variants, so reviews build on one listing instead of scattering.
- Add a 12 digit HS code and country of origin to every product if you want to sell to Saudi shoppers from the UAE.
6. Understand the fees
noon charges a referral fee on each sale, set by category as a percentage of the price before VAT. In the UAE, Fulfilled by Partner rates run from 4% to 27% depending on category, with a minimum of AED 1 per item, under a structure that took effect on 10 September 2026. DirectShip outbound fees start at around AED 12 to 14 per parcel, and FBN fees depend on size and weight, with separate rate cards for each country. Build these into your price before you list, not after.
7. Turn on noon ads
noon ads run in Ad Manager inside noon Seller Lab. Start with Product Ads, which are pay per click and can run automatically or target keywords, products and categories. Add Brand Ads once your brand ownership is set up, and Display Ads for launches and sale events. Sellers who first use Ad Manager from 1 October 2026 can join noon's Seller Accelerator Program for ad credits and cashback in the early months.
8. Reach Saudi shoppers from the UAE
noon's UAE to KSA Global Store enrols eligible UAE sellers automatically. noon says you need no Saudi trade licence and no Saudi VAT registration, because it handles the Saudi VAT. You need a live UAE store, stock in FBN or a non bulky Fulfilled by Partner warehouse in the UAE, HS codes and country of origin on each product, and Saudi warranty support. Items over 25 kg or 120 cm are excluded, and Saudi customers receive refunds rather than exchanges.
9. Plan for the big sales
- Yellow Friday, noon's biggest sale, ran from 20 to 30 November in 2025.
- 11.11 lands in early November, just before Yellow Friday.
- The Ramadan sale starts before Ramadan. In 2026 it ended on 2 February.
- Send stock to FBN early. Fulfilment centres get busy before every major event.
Mistakes to avoid
- Listing with Arabic that was run through a translation tool and never read by a native speaker.
- Turning on ads before the listing has proper images, Arabic copy and a competitive price.
- Running out of stock on the second day of Yellow Friday.
- Pricing without the referral fee, fulfilment fee and ad cost included.
